Rabbits, we first bought a pet rabbit 4 years ago, now we have 3, they're easy to collect. They're much more 'interactive' pets than I ever would've thought. Obviously you can play games with pets like dogs...the Rabbits aren't quite like that but they know their names and they even come over when you call them. Plus there's a box of little biscuit things which they know the sound of, the biscuits rattling round in it and they come and hop round your feet and stand up on their hind legs waiting for the treat...Their wonderfully anthropomorphic like Merecats, when they stand on their hind legs.

However, infront of me lies 'Fudge', youngest of the three at only 2 years old, on Sunday he was happily gamboling round the garden, now he hardly moves, his ears are cold and his nose barely twitches. If you call his name he gives a very slight movement of the head, that is all. The vet's given him 3 injections this evening and some liquid food which we feed him by syringe. I can see the life leaving him, I don't want him to die...

EDIT: Next Morning

The drugs have had some effect he's at least moving again but still doesn't respond to his name and I'm fairly sure he can't see a thing...his eyes are completely unfocussed. More liquid food, he's well behaved, just sits and lets the syringe be put in his mouth and eats the food, doesn't spit it out.

EDIT: 1:45 this afternoon Fudge died in my arms...I've been crying on and off since then, I'm probably one of the biggest softies you could hope to meet...
